CX Builder Roles & Permissions Overview

Relay uses a pre-defined set of user roles in CX Builder. These roles allow Client Admins to control user access based on their job functions and required tasks.  Permissions are designed to align with job responsibilities to ensure security, compliance and focus.

Permissions are cumulative — higher-level roles inherit access from lower-level roles.

Client Admin

• Highest level of permissions

• Inherits permissions from all other roles

• Full access to all CX Builder modules

• Can manage roles, permissions, and users

Additional Roles

Lower-level roles restrict access to only the modules necessary for the user’s tasks.

Relay Messenger Roles require that users are first assigned a Standard role within the system.  The Relay Messenger role they are assigned will augment the Standard role.
